We've been in the 30s for about a week now. I love it but many Germans are melting. It cools down every evening enough for me to get a good night's sleep, but many of my students are complaining about it being too hot for them to sleep.
It's okay in the evening here, too. It's the relentless hot everywhere all day that wears me down - no air conditioning on the buses, at Boy's play group, at my coffee house...by the end of the day I've just had it. And I never considered myself AC addicted, and I lived in Washington DC, and I thought I was tougher than this, but I guess I'm not!
