Why we moved
It's not much - 67 square meters (don't ask me to convert that). You US suburban types are probably wondering what all the fuss is about, but private green space in the middle of a thriving urban neighborhood is quite a coup. (Oh, and we don't have to take care of it - the management company does that!)
Here it is, the reason we switched apartments:

Oh, I totally understand! That's a very pretty garden and your son will love it.
How nice and green! Is it a shared garden?
Oh how beautiful and safe! I'd love to sit there drinking tea with you!
I'd move for that!
well living in frankfurt for the last 4 yrd have made me realized that any green space outside ur place privately owned is a little piece of heaven.67 sq meter.u r living a fancy life by german strandard;)
Nadine - our little patch of grass is just for us. We're separated from our neighbor's little patch of grass by the white wall and little row of bushes you can see in the bottom picture. So it's private as in only for us but not private as in secluded. We're right on top of eachother, but that's pretty standard in Switzerland - it's got quite a high population density.
umarah - yes, it's like that here too if you want to live in an actual city. We're very lucky to have found this place.
Great apartment! I love the garden. Small boy will love taking his cars out there.
