Don't forget chains for better traction in the snow.
Hee hee. Actually, what I see in the mountains is the reverse - people attach wooden sled-runners to the stroller wheels so that it rides like a sled over the snow. I want me some of those!
Runners on a stroller doesn't sound very safe.
It's Switzerland - the last bastion of letting your kids roam wild. And leaving them unattended in the stroller outside while you dash into the store to get something. (That last, I have told R. repeatedly, is a divorcable offense in our house.) Now that you mention it, runners on the stroller could be a little dicey...I must be Swissifying more than I thought, because I have to say that actually never occurred to me!
