Is the ham meant to be green too? I suspect I never read it (Yurtle the Turtle was as far as Dr Seuss and I ever got together) but I always imagined it was just the eggs that were green!

Nadine, they do look ick don't they, and I had to eat one. Because really he can only eat 1 egg but we absolutely positively had to make two because there are two in the book. Of course.
Robin, yes the ham is green too. Given the above, I'm lucky I didn't have to make a ham on bone, since that's how it is IN THE BOOK.
BrooklynGirl and Lillian - to be honest, I had a selfish motivation as well - it killed an extra 20 minutes!

That last picture is my favorite! :-)
My mom did this for my sister the other day (although we had green eggs and spam rather than green eggs and ham).
She loved it.
